Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you have heard of LipSense! I know I started hearing about it from friends and others on social media, and I just had to give it a try!
I recently started working at an eye clinic and I talk to people all day. I also aim to look professional and have been (ack!) applying makeup every day. Most of my makeup stays put, but my lipstick never does. And honestly, I just don’t have time to stop and re-apply every ten minutes. Enter, LipSense!
I have a friend in my area (you can find her facebook page HERE) who made it possible for me to try this amazing product first. She was such a dream to work with – she came right over to my house and explained how this stuff works.
LipSense is an amazing departure from conventional lipsticks and lip colors found on the market today. It comes in a wide variety of shades and textures with over 50 shades that can be to mixed and matched to create a number of effects. This unique product is waterproof and does not smear off, rub off, or kiss off and can last anywhere from 4 to18 hours. LipSense is a non-wax, liquid lip color that stays on the skin and provides a natural, mechanical shield from the elements.
Sandy sells this starter pack for $67 – you get a lip color, gloss, and Oops Remover. Great deal, especially with how long this stuff lasts. 
She helped me and my daughter pick out a shade we each love – and it wasn’t easy! There were SO many cute colors, and the fact that you can layer them for hundreds of unique looks didn’t help. Thankfully, I knew I could buy any other color I wanted in the future, so I settled on Pink Champagne, and I LOVE LOVE LOVE it!
This is a nice neutral pink with NO orangey undertones, which is perfect for my skin tone. It looks a lot like my natural lips, just a little more pigmented and with a fun shimmer effect. Perfect.

This one is a tad warmer, but still very neutral and compliments her skin perfectly. She chose a matte gloss with hers, which she can totally pull off. I went with a glossy gloss for mine, and I love it.
And this stuff is no lie! IT STAYS PUT! It was different to apply than ordinary lips sticks – sort of reminded me a bit of nail polish, in that you apply coats and wait until the first coat is dry before applying the next. With each coat, the colors become more vibrant. My lips tingled a bit when applying, but once the last coat is applied, you add the gloss and it’s the most amazing feeling. It feels like it should rub off like any other lipstick, but it really doesn’t!
I’m sold.
I’m intrigued by the other beauty products Senegence produces – like their eye shadows and even sunless tanner! If they work as well as the lipstick, then I can’t wait to get my hands on some!
