Pray For The Love – Free Printable Download!

I am really excited to share today’s FREE FRIDAY printable – first, because I love this quote from Pres. Henry B. Eyring and believe in it. Second, because I really stretched my creative boundaries and spent a lot of time putting it together to look the way I like. I love how it turned out. I really want to be able to print and display this print where I can see it and be reminded daily of the important message it contains. Sometimes, for me at least, the problem isn’t praying itself – it is knowing WHAT to pray for. This quote reminds me of the importance of praying for your companion, in many ways and over many things. I am a firm believer that this will help a marriage last because it will help us to see our companion through the Lord’s eyes, which are filled with a perfect love.
I have created this printable for free for the followers of my blog. If you aren’t following “It Works For Bobbi”, yet – take a second (literally – a second) and click “follow” over there to the right. Good? Thanks! Also, I would love for you to leave a quick comment to know that you have downloaded it and will be using it. That’s all! It only takes a minute and it’s nice to know whether my time and efforts are being appreciated. I hope that makes sense.

"Give Me This Mountain" Quote – Free 4X6 Printable

Hi everyone! I am back from our amazing trip to China and I plan to share some pictures and tell the story of our trip very soon.
While I was there I was able to climb the legendary Great Wall of China at Mutianyu, and it was a surreal experience for me. Looking over the vast mountain ranges, I couldn’t help but think of the thousands of souls who built the magnificent wall along the ridges. I don’t know how they did it. Did you know that every 12 inches of the wall cost one human life? It’s a sobering thought, and yet they did it! They managed to built a wall that stretches across China from east to west! And not only that, they built it on top of the mountains. Unreal. I can’t imagine what perseverance that would have taken. It was breathtaking.
I knew I wanted to create some kind of print that would remind me of the thoughts I had that day, and I wanted to include a picture, so I immediately went back to this April’s General Conference and found an amazing quote in Pres. Eyring’s talk from the Saturday morning session. He was speaking on adversity and he quoted Pres. Spencer W. Kimball when he said ““There are great challenges ahead of us, giant opportunities to be met. I welcome that exciting prospect and feel to say to the Lord, humbly, ‘Give me this mountain,’ give me these challenges.”
Wow. I pray to have that attitude as I face the challenges in my own life, great or small. While at the wall, I snapped this picture of the wall and I thought it was a nice fit with the quote. I hope this print, framed and places where I can see it, will remind me to trust in the Lord and in His plan for me in my life; to face my mountains with courage and humility and trust in the opportunities in my future!
I am happy to share with anyone who is interested in having a copy for their own personal use. Please do not re-sell any images, and if you share on your blog, please just include a link to where you found it here 🙂 Oh, and if you do download, I’d love a comment to let me know you did. I like hearing that someone is enjoying what I share.
Have a great Monday!

Free Friday – 4X6 Visiting Teaching Card Printable

Happy Free Friday, Friends!
A good friend of mine was looking for a card that she could use, as a visiting teacher, to record her sisters’ phone numbers as well as their appointment dates. She wanted a card to hand out to all of the Relief Society Sisters that gave the basic responsibilities of a Visiting Teacher as well. I did some searching online, but came up empty. So, I decided to create a 4X6 card that I will:

  • PRINT
  • LAMINATE
  • HANG
  • USE
  • RE-USE
…each month as I set up my Visiting Teaching Appointments, and to remind me of what my responsibilities are. And, if it were pretty…even better 🙂 Here is what I came up with. I might tweak it in future, depending on how I find it works, but I’m sharing the download now for all of you to try out.

Enjoy, and if you download, please remember to leave a comment, pin, tweet, or share! Thanks a bunch!
