Motherhood is….(updated)

What an uplifting and inspiring Conference Weekend! I love our church leaders and their loving and wise counsel. I am not alone in finding a new favorite quote from the Saturday afternoon session of Conference when Elder Neal L. Anderson quoted a lovely woman’s blog, and said this wonderful quote:

This was just one of many, many inspiring messages that were shared. I plan to watch and re-watch the Conference addresses again and again over the next 6 months. I encourage ALL to watch and listen, as the messages are for all the world, not just those of our faith. I am who I am because of my faith in and testimony of the Savior, Jesus Christ. I am not ashamed to exclaim my beliefs and share the source of my joy and peace. If you ever want to know more, please ask.Until then, enjoy this download and I hope it will be a positive reminder of WHY we are mothers and how important this calling really is 🙂

  1. Although I loved this quote this was just said by Neal L. Anderson quoting a woman's blog… maybe she should get the credit?! Thanks for posting it though… it is a great reminder of what we should be doing as mothers.

  2. Hi! I found your blog through the quote poster, which was pinned on Pinterest. 🙂 I really hate popping on just to correct something… But I wanted to warn you that this excellent quote is actually originally from a blog article by a wonderful mother and blogger named Rachel Jankovic. 🙂

  3. I was the one who first posted about Neal L. Anderson quoting the woman on the blog. After much thought I hoped that I didn't come across as mean, rude or “holier than thou”. I am just grateful for people like you who make beautiful reminders of things we've heard that need remembering. Thanks for posting it and inadvertently making it spread like wildfire on Pinterest. Isn't the Internet fabulous?!

  4. Found your gorgeous printable through Pinterest (where else? 🙂 This was my very favorite quote from Conference. Thanks so much for sharing!
