Father’s Day Ideas!

Father’s day is just around the corner so I have been browsing the web for some fun (and, let’s face it, last minute) father’s day ideas! I gave my husband a wonderful day of golf and sushi for an early gift, but I want something to give him on Sunday – he deserves it! I came across so MANY fun ideas, I just have to share a few with you.

1. Rebecca Cooper created these elegant printables with a fantastic quote about fathers. This would be great to give to your own dad, grandfather, or even to the father of your ward – the Bishop! 5 colors to choose from. Thanks, Rebecca!

Homework shared this fun and MANLY idea (I think I almost grunted there) of a fire starter kit! This can be pulled together easily, and it holds promises of some campfire fun with dad later on!

My friend, Alison, at HowDoesShe shares this great idea for a book made from recyclables from around the house. I especially LOVE how she attaches the twig and uses it to bind the pages. This is a must see!

What are you doing for the men in your life this Father’s Day? I’m so grateful to have the amazing husband I have and I’m excited to spoil him this Sunday. I am going to really miss being hours away from my dad and my father-in-law. Both of them are heros in my life. I’d love some ideas for long-distance dads, too!
